The Amended Timeline...

The accepted version of events are wrong?

Investigation significantly changes timeline?

Would this be changes to the Sticker Book timeline?

Or changes to the Tapas statement timelines?

Is it someone else's timeline?  Maybe Erik, the ice cream man?  Or Henry, the mild mannered janitor?

The accepted version of events have been out there for over 6 years, mulled over and analysed by all.  Who noticed that they were wrong? Didn't the McCanns ever notice?  Kate has, after all, been working very hard and spent countless hours analysing the files.  Their private dicks must be kicking themselves for not spotting such an anomaly.

Maybe their watches were all out (just like the camera) and we really should have been following that alternative timeline which did indeed seem to start an hour earlier?

If this is such a revelation!!! then surely it's enough to reopen the case in Portugal.  No?...

How many versions of events are there?  Can we add this to the versions of the truth?  Maybe we could have one big Spot the Difference competition, where all entrants have to circle and underline in green ink. The winner gets to add their own timeline into the mix.

This is all so very intriguing but pointless speculating...  Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I can't help but thinking that everyone involved are callously playing with a child's life.  Dribbling news to the press...  waiting to release e-fit pictures... showing snippets of a programme yet to be broadcast... parading the parents as if they're celebrities.  This is Crimewatch, not some 'coming soon to a screen near you'.

Or maybe they know something we don't.  Whatever, it's all been done in the worst possible taste.

The McCrimewatch Saga

An unforgiveable display of group members on the Official Find Madeleline Facebook page slagging off Portugal and its police.  And the page admin 'liking' all the comments.  I mean, that's so bad guys, come on!  It's not the first time either.  I wish people would remember that Portugal and its people did not ask to be dragged into this sorry state of affairs - the morons seem to forget one point when waving their pitchforks at the Algarve - the McCanns et al chose to holiday there.  And why would that be??  Maybe because Portugal and its people are very friendly and family orientated?  Or maybe just because there was an Ocean Club with lots of freebies and a nice convenient creche, but you know what I mean...

Anyway, it's clear to see that the appeal is only going out in the UK, Germany and Holland.  Not Portugal.  Not France.  Not Spain or any other country whatsoever.  So why single out Portugal as the bad guys? Huh?

BBC Programme : SIC asserts it was not contacted

"SIC was not contacted to broadcast the documentary that the BBC has made about the "Maddie case", contrary to what the English press has published. Next Monday (14), the British station broadcasts on its show Crimewatch what is promised to be a reconstruction of Madeleine McCann's disappearance. The script results from the Scotland Yard's investigation. The British press asserts that the Portuguese televisions refused to broadcast the documentary. Nonetheless, questioned by DN, an official source at SIC asserts that the channel was never contacted. RTP and TVI have not replied until this edition's closing time.

Diário de Notícias, 09.10.2013, paper edition

So there you have it... no more upset, bafflement or scratching heads. Portugal wasn't asked to show the programme... along with a myriad of other places.  For some reason, unknown to everyone as yet, Scotland Yard want this appeal shown in three specific countries.  Surely the McCanns must've known this, or are they really in the dark about the Crimewatch?  Perhaps they should now instruct their admin to update their Facebook page and followers with this snippet of info and remove the offending comments?  I think the Yard should have made it clear that Portugal wasn't included in their plans... there's enough embarrassing xenophobia in this country without firing the flames.

That leads me onto the latest request from Kate via the Official Facebook page.

I wholeheartedly agree with this request, although its SIX years too late.

I have to ask myself how personal photos of the kids found their way online.  Oh that's right, the McCanns allowed their children to be photographed willy nilly, didn't they?  While in Portugal, they paraded past the press pack on a daily basis.  Press opportunities were set up (remember the zoo, Punch and Judy etc) and why, there was even a photographer in the private lounge as they fled back to the UK after being made arguidos.

Photos of the cousins is a different matter.  I've seen these online - there's only one way that they got into the public domain.

So if you see any offending photos or videos on Facebook, please report it to webmaster@findmadeleine.com in the first instance.  Do it.  For the children. Although I have to ask myself why the twins are on Facebook anyway - the age requirement to have an account is 13.  And can we please have the same treatment for all the Kate and Gerry mugshots? And not just on Facebook either.

Maybe this is something that will find its way into Kate's statement if she's allowed to speak in court?  Yes folks, these people want to defend themselves in a law suit that they brought about themselves.

It gets more bizarre as the days go on - you could write a book about it.

McCann Land and Porky Pies

Michael Wright stated in evidence that young 'A' had searched for her name in Google.  I thought I'd give it a try...

Obviously, if her parents hadn't put her in the position she is in - she would have found nothing.  However, here's what she would have found before the trial... nothing too extreme, some nice Youtube videos - certainly nothing relating to Goncalo Amaral's book and dvd.

And after her parents objection to Amaral's request for media silence - here's what she would find today...

Scary stuff and the really diabolical thing is that all these articles and reports are online because the McCanns wanted it reported.  It's absolutely crazy that they would do this to their own children.

For their sake (and while they can), the time has come for the McCanns to simply take a back seat, shut up and get on with their lives.  Instead of persistently whining and stirring up their own hornet's nest, they should sit their children down and explain the full circumstances of Madeleine's disappearance (yes, their version of the truth).  It surely can't be scarier or more horrific than anything they'd see in the local newsagents or hear on the playground.

It would also be helpful to explain that because Madeleine's disappearance is so strange and unexplained, many people have doubts and their own dark thoughts about what actually happened.  There are full translations of the PJ Files online and many, many things worse than Goncalo Amaral's book.  Eight year olds are a lot smarter than we think and it would actually be better for the twins in the long run.  The inevitable is going to happen and the danger is everywhere - not just online.  And certainly not in the guise of the man who tried to discover what happened to their sister.

Don't you just know it though - it ain't gonna happen.  Not in narcissistic McCann Land.

And whatever next?  So far, their witnesses are hardly credible - consisting either family, friends or paid lackeys.  Where are all the independent health professionals and assessment reports relating to this sad state of affairs?  Hardly inspiring, eh?

Madeleine McCann - A New Investigation?

So London's top prosecutor and her deputy visited Portugal mid April to consult with Portuguese officials about Madeleine's disappearance.  And subsequently, Theresa May has announced that Scotland Yard will be opening their own investigation.  Can we assume therefore that this has been rubberstamped by the Portuguese if Ms May has been able make this announcement?  Which is all very interesting, because British police can only investigate British suspects and the CPS can only prosecute British accused, those who are alive and kicking.  So, can we technically rule out the swarthy European masses and free range Portuguese eggs and assume that the culprit/s are British?  And will Scotland Yard, indeed ask their own dogs?

We can speculate until the cows come home, but should we exercise extreme caution?  Should we really believe the British media this time around, they normally print such pink crap, and we've been up this hopeful path before only to be let down.  It feels different this time though and I can't help but have more than a glimmer of hope for Madeleine.  The weekend papers have been surprisingly quiet and completely pink free.  It's almost like the calm before the storm.

The British authorities aided the Portuguese police and their investigation from very early on.  Google Lee Rainbow and Martin Grimes for a very interesting read.  However, if Scotland Yard do open a full investigation, will they also investigate some of their own officers?  In particular, I refer to the comments made by Mrs McCann herself in her book Madeleine...

Remember Bob Small?  He was the McCanns liaison to the British police and the van-man who set up the framing of an innocent Robert Murat, aided by (er err I carried her this way) Jane Tanner... well according to Mrs McCann on page 226, Bob Small gave Mr McCann indications of the FSS results before he was interviewed by the Portuguese police. Astonishing.  Mr McCann rang Ken Jones, head of ACPO the day after. Wonder why.  Imagine that - persons of interest having direct lines to top British brass and being spoon fed sensititve information which allowed them to keep one step ahead of the Portuguese.  Having indications of the FSS results prior to their arguido interviews gave the McCanns the ability to complete their offensive, and to their success they fled the country within days, aided and abetted by the British government.  One must assume that Goncalo Amaral was absolutely correct in his accusations of political manipulation and gross interference from the British in this criminal investigation.

And what about those officers who reportedly delivered boxes of files to the McCanns on their return to Rothley after fleeing Portugal?  Or those who informed them that their phones were being tapped?  Who supplied Gerry McCann with the top secret CEOP manuals?  Who made the visit to Portugal in an attempt to suppress certain information being released in the PJ files?  And who on earth thought it was a good idea to withhold the Gaspar statements?  This alone would have turned the investigation on its head.

This all needs looking into.  Interesting times ahead.

Another interesting thing has happened.  For some time now, this blog has been spammed by pro comments, without fail, every single day. Sometimes there are up to 50 comments a day left.  This is the reason the comments are now moderated - it's really not a problem going in daily and deleting the spam, some of it is very amusing.  However, since the CPS news broke - the spam just stopped overnight.  Saturday, Sunday and now Monday... 0 spam.  Zilch. Nada.  Wonder why.

The McCann Ordeal and the Press...

Mr McCann, father of missing Madeleine McCann, will say: "Kate and I had the misfortune to suffer from everything the press could throw at us. The reason we subsequently agreed to the ordeal of giving evidence to the Leveson Inquiry was that we don't want anyone else to have to go through what we went through.

"The Leveson package, including the legal underpinning, is the minimum acceptable compromise for us, and judging by the polls, for the public at large too. Leveson without the law is meaningless."

The ordeal of giving evidence?  Oh boohoo BOOHOO.  Shame they couldn't go through the ordeal of giving evidence to the police when questioned - you know... for their child?  Shame they plonked themselves right in the firing line with their behaviour in Praia de Luz, that fateful May.

We know the McCanns just don't do 'for others' hence their me, me, me ordeal (!!! ROFL) at Leveson.  Judging by the polls?  Just who are these mysterious voters?  I've read that only around 2000 people were polled - that's hardly representative of Joe Public.  I personally would vote against anything that took Kate and Gerry McCanns word as gospel... even if the whole ordeal was under oath.  I read a great comment today saying that the McCanns and Hacked off were very strange bedfellows.  Very true, considering they claim they were never hacked.

The McCanns and their latest bandwagon inexcusably compares them to the likes of the Dowlers and other genuinely bereft and grieving families. Biting the hand that feeds comes to mind and the McCanns behave like they should be left alone to get on with their lives.  Like it's all over.

They seem to be forgetting that it's not over by a long shot - Madeleine is still missing... what will happen if the case is reopened.  What will happen if she's ever found?  That's when the press will have a field day  - maybe that's what the McCanns really fear.

And yes, we might be quiet... but we're still watching, still waiting.

For Madeleine...

Watching and waiting
For a friend to play with
Why have I been alone for so long
Mole, he is burrowing his way to the sunlight
He knows there's someone there so strong
Cos here there's lots of room for doing
The things you've always been denied
Look and gather all you want to
There's no one here to stop you trying
Soon you will see me
Cos I'll be all around you
But where I come from I can't tell
But don't be alarmed by my fields and my forests
They're here for only you to share
Cos here there's lots of room for doing
The things you've always been denied
So look and gather all you want to
There's no one here to stop you trying

Watching and waiting
For someone to understand me
I hope it won't be very long...
