Missing... Blathnaid Timothy and Nathan Tomlinson

These important missing person cases have caught my eye that I'd really like to highlight.

While the public read and listen to the rolling news broadcast in the Joanna Yeates case, these people have been missing since mid-December, yet don't warrant the same coverage.  Their cases are being continually highlighted online by family and friends.

Please read and share, these people deserve the same amount of coverage as anyone.  They're just as important and newsworthy as the next person, yet they are almost invisible to the general public.  Their families have (I can only imagine) struggled through Christmas and the new year without their loved ones, not knowing where they are or what has happened to them.  Every day must be a nightmare, my heart goes out to them.

Serena has been found.  Details are sketchy at the moment, but it appears she is well and now with her family.  Please contact the police if you have any information about Blathnaid or Nathan, and don't forget all those missing persons who for some reason don't warrant the rolling attention of the media.

  1. Hi,
Thanks for highlighting these other cases. I keep searching for updates on Nathan as I live close to Manchester Cathedral one of the places he was last seen. I have set up a Facebook group, if people would click into the search on Facebook and look for a group called Find Nathan Tomlinson they will be added to the group, hopefully we can try to get Nathan some more publicity so that he can be safely returned to his home.

I sent information to a number of papers and the BBC and ITV news centre but haven't seen anything since, I have had a reply from one paper telling me that I have contacted the wrong department though...glad I was taken seriously.

  2. Thank you Cat, Nathan's disappearance has filled me with a terrible sadness and I really hope he returns home to his family soon. The lack of coverage in his case is shocking. I'll have a look for the Facebook link and post it on this blog. Thanks again.
