FORMER Portuguese police chief Goncalo Amaral is set for a new legal battle with Kate and Gerry McCann after writing a second book about their missing daughter Madeleine.
Mr Amaral’s book will be published in Portugal next month shortly before Kate McCann publishes her fundraising book called Madeleine.

I'm sick to the back teeth of the constant fight of who is right and who is wrong.
Too much time has been devoted to court cases, appeals and trying to stop freedom of speech and opinion. Nobody is right or wrong until the child is found, case solved and the person/s responsible for her disappearance are found guilty in a court of law. Whoever they are.
Why does there have to be a battle? Or a dramatic war of words...
Anything that will help bring this little girl justice or home is a good thing, irrespective of who the author is or which side you're on.
After all, Madeleine McCann is the victim and the one who needs found. No-one else.

ReplyDeleteHow hard would you fight if you had to cover up something awful ?
If there was a way of derailing an investigation - how would you do it ?
What would you use in your hour of need ?
Who would you turn to for help ?
How would you Fund it ?
How long can you keep it going ?
Only until the money runs out.
Will the money run out ?
I don't think so.
This is why we are having a battle of who is right and who is wrong.
We are not allowed to have any other opinion other than "abduction".
They are very powerful.
This case could have been solved years ago if the Mccanns had decided to co-operate with the proper authorities, instead they set about derailing the investigation via the media and setting up a fund, how many other parents in that situation would have had the mind to start such a thing. Never once did they physically search for their daughter, they deleted phone messages, with held bank statements, medical reports but they have always had time for expensive litigation cases. This fraud streches worldwide, with many dubious characters involved why did Brian Kennedy back them, what were his true motives how has the fund helped him ? and Haligen now serving time in prison for fraud there is much here that should be investigated.
ReplyDeleteThe Mccanns deserve everything they get thown at them, they have manipulated the justice system, and attempted to ruin Sr Amaral, remember it was not just his opinion that they were guilty but it was the opinion of the British Police force and the Officers serving in Portugal.
This case should be re-opened and those responsible brought to justice, sooner rather than later.
