McHoles...

The diggers and the dogs are heading to Praia da Luz...Brunty has just tweeted that the boys have already arrived!

Hooray, finally something to offer a little bit of hope (because I always look on the positive side of everything) and something of interest to talk about!

This all reminds me of the time British police officers arrived in Kos to do a similar dig for Ben Needham.  And I just can't help make comparisons between the two children and their families.  There has always been a startling difference between the two...

Not surprisingly, the McCanns have already stated they won't be setting foot in Portugal while there's any digging going on.  Did anyone expect anything otherwise?  Yet Kerry Needham and her family were there on the toot.  In fact, here's her father at the dig in Kos...

Mr Needham had been back to the location over the years, this time it was something he described as a 'traumatic experience' but was glad that he had returned.

We are told by Kate McCann herself that she also returns, privately to Praia de Luz with some regularity, walking the streets to look for answers.  Yawn.  With such regularity, her last visit was in April 2013, over a year ago.

Gerry McCann then told us 'the Met are going back to Portugal very soon... we are going to continue hoping we get a happy outcome...' and the pair were said to be 'buoyed' by the latest development, while Kerry Needham simply said of Ben, 'If they find his bones, my life is finished...'

That one sentence gives me chills...

But hey ho and back to McCann Land and here's what (they think) they do best - with a pained expression and microphone...even though this time the audience was little more than a dribble.  Sign of the times or something else?

Here we are again?  Yes Mrs McCann, you're in Rothley!!!  We had no doubt you'd be here again.  No need to broadcast it or adapt any words from any song. Uncle Brian was asked how he felt on the anniversary... 'much the same as I was seven years ago - hopeful.'  Strange family.

I truly hope that something comes out of these digs, and if it's not Madeleine then perhaps it's the pink blanket or the blue sports bag.  Or maybe something else that will help end this farce and bring those responsible for it all to justice.  Madeleine McCann needs closure.  We all do.

A Dangerous Game...

I avoid the MSM like the plague.

It's usually full of pink spin, always attempting to either detract or pre-empt.

Or simply full of lies.

I can't ignore the latest appalling headline in the Sun.  The implications of the grisly end that Madeleine may have come to are just too sickening for words.  Alongside her photo.

All sensational detraction and a sordid exercise for profit.

This is something that is more harmful to the twins than anything they could ever read.  Whoever thought this one up should thoroughly hang their heads in shame.  Actually they deserve a good flogging, but I wouldn't want my words misconstrued.

Whatever happened to investigative journalism - will these idiots ever grow a backbone and report sensibly and properly?

Sadly, I think we all know the answer to that one.

A very public awakening?

This little blog usually only gets around 100 - 150 hits on a normal day...

Since the hysteria that is Crimewatch was first advertised, the number of hits has risen tenfold.

It seems the general public's curiosity has truly been awakened this time around.  It's like travelling back in time to 2007 when we all sought sanctuary for our doubts and wavering thoughts.  It's happening again.

I've just read on Blacksmith's blog that visits to the McCann Files website are numbering a collosal 100,000 hits per day.  Pamalam recently posted on Maddie Case Files that people were arriving in their droves to view the Smith statement at 100 hits per minute!  The number of members on the Facebook Controversy group has leapt to almost 11,000.

Have the public finally had their bellies full?  The last straw?  All this interest due to a BBC production, not some book about the case. No, no they can't say that this time around.

Sometimes on the blog feed, it's possible to see what a person has searched for via certain search engines.  Here are a few of the things that people are now seeking answers for...

Madeleine cadaver dogs ignored
Are the McCanns narcissists
McCann lies Crimewatch
Kate McCann's silver necklace
Police statements of Dr Payne
Operation Grange cadaver dogs
An act of madness, an accident or sudden impulse can lead to consequences that people may have never imagined or intended
Martin Grimes Madeleine McCann
Kate McCann refused to answer questions
Find Madeleline Fund private limited company
Why did FSS change their minds about McCanns
Bob Small Madeleine McCann
McCann farce
Kate McCann book page 129
Kate McCann forgive
Mrs Fenn Maddie

Interesting, hope these searchers find the answers they're looking for. And to the person who searched for 'the bunion on my left foot'... I have no idea how you ended up here, so sorry that I couldn't help and hope you've found some relief...

If you're interested in the case, here are some sites that you should consider having a browse..

Or you could read the English translation of Goncalo Amaral's book, the Truth of the Lie. From what I can gather, it's just a condensed version of the official files.  We'll have to wait for confirmation on that one though...

Your comments are most welcome, although set to moderated since being PG'd, I always try and check throughout the day.  If you have any messages or comments that you wish to send and don't want published, please continue to do so but mark appropriately in the comment box.

Thanks for your visits.  And a big thumbs up to whoever halted the spamming.

Justice for Madeleine.

Hope for Madeleine McCann?...

Ever the optimist, I'm keeping an open mind after watching Crimewatch and hoping against hope that Scotland Yard are playing a long game.

I'm not sure what the theatricals established last night other than to show that in 6 years and many millions spent, we're no further forward than we were when the case was shelved.

The pantomine that was the Crimewatch 'reconstruction' also goes to prove that a full and acurate official reconstruction is needed in the original setting of Praia de Luz with all key witnesses present.

A fundamental police act which will serve to remove contradictions, inconsistencies and lies.

The only accuracy I could spot was the uncanny resemblance of the abductor to Mr McCann - as originally confirmed by Mr Smith in his official statement to the police.

The Portuguese have said that there is no new and credible evidence to reopen the case - the answer really does lie in the file.

And there we have stalemate.  And a case that is still sitting on the shelf.

However, by working together perhaps the Portuguese and British police have found a way round this gridlock?

We now find ourselves back in time where Goncalo Amaral left off and concentrating on the Smith sighting.  And although we may never find out just why she fingered Murat, Jane Tanner's sighting has officially been ruled out.  Something that the McCanns and their many private investigators should have really done instead of shamelessly promoting over the years.

From the official police files and recently confirmed by evidence we've heard from the McCann v Amaral trial, we know that the British authorities were involved from day one.  The British first suggested homicide and the British recommended the use of the dogs.

Unless DCI Redwood can explain those compelling and haunting cadaver dog alerts, I'll continue to hope that the police will do their job and justice will rightly be served.  No matter how long it takes.

McCann Land and Porky Pies

Michael Wright stated in evidence that young 'A' had searched for her name in Google.  I thought I'd give it a try...

Obviously, if her parents hadn't put her in the position she is in - she would have found nothing.  However, here's what she would have found before the trial... nothing too extreme, some nice Youtube videos - certainly nothing relating to Goncalo Amaral's book and dvd.

And after her parents objection to Amaral's request for media silence - here's what she would find today...

Scary stuff and the really diabolical thing is that all these articles and reports are online because the McCanns wanted it reported.  It's absolutely crazy that they would do this to their own children.

For their sake (and while they can), the time has come for the McCanns to simply take a back seat, shut up and get on with their lives.  Instead of persistently whining and stirring up their own hornet's nest, they should sit their children down and explain the full circumstances of Madeleine's disappearance (yes, their version of the truth).  It surely can't be scarier or more horrific than anything they'd see in the local newsagents or hear on the playground.

It would also be helpful to explain that because Madeleine's disappearance is so strange and unexplained, many people have doubts and their own dark thoughts about what actually happened.  There are full translations of the PJ Files online and many, many things worse than Goncalo Amaral's book.  Eight year olds are a lot smarter than we think and it would actually be better for the twins in the long run.  The inevitable is going to happen and the danger is everywhere - not just online.  And certainly not in the guise of the man who tried to discover what happened to their sister.

Don't you just know it though - it ain't gonna happen.  Not in narcissistic McCann Land.

And whatever next?  So far, their witnesses are hardly credible - consisting either family, friends or paid lackeys.  Where are all the independent health professionals and assessment reports relating to this sad state of affairs?  Hardly inspiring, eh?

Madeleine McCann - A New Investigation?

So London's top prosecutor and her deputy visited Portugal mid April to consult with Portuguese officials about Madeleine's disappearance.  And subsequently, Theresa May has announced that Scotland Yard will be opening their own investigation.  Can we assume therefore that this has been rubberstamped by the Portuguese if Ms May has been able make this announcement?  Which is all very interesting, because British police can only investigate British suspects and the CPS can only prosecute British accused, those who are alive and kicking.  So, can we technically rule out the swarthy European masses and free range Portuguese eggs and assume that the culprit/s are British?  And will Scotland Yard, indeed ask their own dogs?

We can speculate until the cows come home, but should we exercise extreme caution?  Should we really believe the British media this time around, they normally print such pink crap, and we've been up this hopeful path before only to be let down.  It feels different this time though and I can't help but have more than a glimmer of hope for Madeleine.  The weekend papers have been surprisingly quiet and completely pink free.  It's almost like the calm before the storm.

The British authorities aided the Portuguese police and their investigation from very early on.  Google Lee Rainbow and Martin Grimes for a very interesting read.  However, if Scotland Yard do open a full investigation, will they also investigate some of their own officers?  In particular, I refer to the comments made by Mrs McCann herself in her book Madeleine...

Remember Bob Small?  He was the McCanns liaison to the British police and the van-man who set up the framing of an innocent Robert Murat, aided by (er err I carried her this way) Jane Tanner... well according to Mrs McCann on page 226, Bob Small gave Mr McCann indications of the FSS results before he was interviewed by the Portuguese police. Astonishing.  Mr McCann rang Ken Jones, head of ACPO the day after. Wonder why.  Imagine that - persons of interest having direct lines to top British brass and being spoon fed sensititve information which allowed them to keep one step ahead of the Portuguese.  Having indications of the FSS results prior to their arguido interviews gave the McCanns the ability to complete their offensive, and to their success they fled the country within days, aided and abetted by the British government.  One must assume that Goncalo Amaral was absolutely correct in his accusations of political manipulation and gross interference from the British in this criminal investigation.

And what about those officers who reportedly delivered boxes of files to the McCanns on their return to Rothley after fleeing Portugal?  Or those who informed them that their phones were being tapped?  Who supplied Gerry McCann with the top secret CEOP manuals?  Who made the visit to Portugal in an attempt to suppress certain information being released in the PJ files?  And who on earth thought it was a good idea to withhold the Gaspar statements?  This alone would have turned the investigation on its head.

This all needs looking into.  Interesting times ahead.

Another interesting thing has happened.  For some time now, this blog has been spammed by pro comments, without fail, every single day. Sometimes there are up to 50 comments a day left.  This is the reason the comments are now moderated - it's really not a problem going in daily and deleting the spam, some of it is very amusing.  However, since the CPS news broke - the spam just stopped overnight.  Saturday, Sunday and now Monday... 0 spam.  Zilch. Nada.  Wonder why.
